Earth Mysteries - Possible Course Outline

1. The world is a mysterious place

What do we know for certain? Students share current beliefs, questions, curiosities. Crop Circles - detailed examination of this phenomena - what could cause them? How can we judge fact from fiction, proof from fraud? What other mysteries are there and what does this say about our world?

2. Getting in touch with your intuitive self

Where do our dreams, gut feelings, intuitions come from? Should we listen to them? Students are taken on a guided visualisation of a journey and the symbols and themes are interpreted using Jungian and Transpersonal approaches. The interpretations are compared with what is happening in their lives. Can we use this information? Is it relevant or meaningful? Students are asked to start taking note of dreams for ongoing interpretation.

3. Getting in touch with your body/soul energy.

Look at pictures of kirlian photography showing phantom leaf effect and auras. What are these pictures due to? Look at pictures that show changes in auras with emotion, health etc.

Energy exercises - students feel each others 'auras' when visualising cold repelling thoughts versus warm open thoughts. Discussion on effect of thoughts - how powerful are they? - what are vibes? What are we doing when we interact with others? ... how are we using/abusing each others energy? Guided visualisation on aligning energy within the body - chakras. Diagnosing energy blockages using pendulums. Does the earth have an energy field ... sacred sites... crystals.

4. Getting in touch with your soul purpose

What happens when you die? Did you exist before birth? Compare views of different religions. How do we know who is right? What sort of evidence would we need? Look at NDE research and regression research. Do people choose to be born? Exercise: students write poetry based on the word 'life' in a contemplative frame of mind. Then students put together a personal timeline where they try and see what were the important things that have happened in their lives and what are the connecting themes or recurring issues.

Guided visualisation where they are in a safe secure place and ask for guidance on their purpose. Look at numerology, astrology or tarot as other means of determining purpose. Do so in a discerning way. How relevant and useful is this for me?

5. The Earth's History - issues

Where have we come from? How has our culture influenced our view of the world? Look at recent history (last 2000 years) and development of a mechanistic world view. How does having this view affect the way we think?

Pre - history - Atlantis and Lemuria - what evidence is there? What would expect to be left after 10,000 years of our civilisation? Look at maps, OOPARTS, the 'Face on Mars', ancient legends and regression analysis that provides pictures of these civilisations from previous incarnations. What are main themes, recurring issues? What can we say about our earth purpose?

Guided visualisation: go to a place on the earth where wise people tell you of what are earth's needs now and how you can help.

6. The earth's future

Look at what clairvoyants say about the earth's future. Where do they get this information? Can we rely on it? Look at the nature of predictions. Look at channelled information. How much should we believe?

What do we want the future of the world to be? Discussion ... what would work, education, being, community, family look like in our preferred view?

7. Making it happen

How do we make it happen? Using the power of thought, energy, affirmations, visualisations. Having control, having faith in synchronicity, the earth's abundance, wu-wei. Building relationships between each other.
