The Hidden Heart of the Cosmos

What does it mean to the human, to live on planet Earth, in the universe as it is now understood?  Best-selling author and mathematical cosmologist Brian Swimme takes us on a journey through the Cosmos in search of the "new story" that is developing in answer to this age-old question.

"The hidden heart of the Cosmos is paying much-needed, conscience, lucid introduction to the new cosmology which is dramatically transforming our understanding of the universe and the nature and destiny of humanity.  Swimme explores the deeper mysteries of the Cosmos in an especially illuminating fashion, and he has a rare gift for integrating science with a sense of the sacred."

"Brian Swimme, a superb scientist, here reveals to ask the wonder and beauty and enchanting qualities of the world about us.  Only such a universe, revealed in such lyric language, can save our souls, for this is the primary renovation of the Divine itself."

 - Thomas Berry, author of the Dream of the Earth

"Without burdening the reader with technical terms, Brian Swimme conveys the basic ideas of modern cosmology and, at the same time, a sense of belonging to the Cosmos.  A marvellous book!"
