I dreamed that slavery had been legalised.

All people under 18 had been assigned to different establishments. For some strange reason, I got assigned to Solo Pasta, SANDY BAY. I woke up in a cold sweat, I was so terrified, what could this mean? Help!

Feel: Relieved that it was all a dream yet worried about my dream's true meaning..

Are you a slave to what others want you to do? Are you a slave to eating?

How much are you thinking before making decisions about what you want to do at the moment?

I was walking along at school when i saw one of my friends. He was kissing my girlfriend. In the dream I grabbed his collar and pulled him away. I then proceeded to smack the crap out of him with a steel pipe. As his brains spilt out onto the floor I stood up, and everyone around me clapped.

Feel: Happy..

This dream might be asking you to look at how you react to situations.

In the dream you clearly over-reacted.  Are you over-reacting to some situation?

I keep getting images of this alcoholic that is sprawled in a corner laughing with a bottle in his hand. Is this a sign of my future self?

Feel: Scared

This dream might be asking how much you are taking control of your life at the moment.  Are you living your life or just opting out?

Are there some issues that you need to face up to?

I dreamt that I died, but at my funeral i got out of the coffin and talked to everyone. They buried the empty coffin and i went to the wake. everyone kept talking, but they ignored me now. I got a gun out of my funeral dress and shot them, then tried to kill myself but couldn't. The room then locked and I was trapped with all these dead people. The dead people got up and ripped me apart, but i could still see them eating my remains.

Feel: scared, kind of odd. still, zombies are pretty cool, hey?

In the dream you die but it changed nothing -- it even made it worse.  You felt trapped.  Is there some situation in which you feel trapped where everything is getting to you?

The dream might be saying that the real you can't be trapped -- maybe you need to look at things differently -- even oddly.

I dreamt that i was drowning in a vat of baked beans. whenever i tried to get out they turned to acid and burnt my skin. after a while they drained away and my skin had gone red. I felt like killing the person who did this.

Feel: Angry..

Is there a situation where you feel overwhelmed at the moment?

The dream might be asking you to look at the situation and acknowledge that you are feeling angry.

i had a dream that my sister took me shopping to buy me a doll. I wanted one at the time and then i decided that I didn't want one because it would end up being junk. In the shopping centre there was a table with free drinks and lamingtons.

Feel: happy

This dream might be asking you to think about what you want -- is it what you really need or is it just 'junk'.

The dream might be saying - just because things are free or easy doesn't mean they are good for you.

I was stopped on the side of the road and looking hte back of a holden Commodore when this fat guy and this thin guy came up and tried to push me in. Then I climbed into the back of a kombi. Then there were all of these people who were fighting over who would gouge out my eyes, then and i had this bunch of balloons which I burst and so everyone (consequently), ran off after me. The chased me for a while than overtook me. Then two of my friends caught up to me and the dream ended.

Feel: Fearful for my eyes

This dream might be asking who is in control of your life -- are there others trying to push you to do things that you don't really want to do?

Are you seeing what is really going around you or are others removing your vision/insight (gouging out your eyes).  The dream ends when two of your friends catch up with you -- do you know who your real friends are? Comment?

I was part of a team sent back in time to study dinosaurs. We were set up in a big shed with all these rooms. Eventually the dream turned into a bad version of Jurassic Park with all these dinosaurs eating all these people. Then finally it came down to me a my brother and this girl, while these dinosaurs were bashing on the roof of the shed. Then my brother had to go off and do something and I was looking for this gun to kill these lions in the room with the time machine in it. Then finally we were peeking around this door to see if we could see the lions, but they didn't have manes.

Feel: During the start of the dream I was apprehensive. Then at the end i was sure the dinosaurs would get me..

Dinosaurs can represent outdated attitudes or failure to adapt and change.  Lions can represent courage to move ahead -- but these were probably immature lions (without manes).

The dream might be asking if you are getting caught up in the old ways of thinking or doing things. It might be asking you to think about what happens if you don't adapt and change -- which takes courage. Comment?

I was eating donuts and my friend took them. I got really upset

Feel: upset

There is not much to go on here.  Is there some situation in real life where you feel upset because someone has taken something you want?  Is that thing you  really that important to you? -- doughnuts have little substance. Comment?

i had a dream i was run over by a car or a bus and it didn't really hurt that much.

Feel: weird

Your mind might be fearing events in your life that might 'hit you like a bus'. But you were not hurt which might be saying you are worrying too much - it won't be that bad. Comment?

I keep having dreams that my boyfriend is cheating on me. Is this bad?

Feel: upset, paranoid

This dream might represent your fears, or it might be asking you to be aware of the possibility, or it might be asking if you are 'cheating' on yourself or others by not living up to your own ideals.

Either way the dream probably repeats because you have not yet understood the message in the dream. Comment?

I was leaving school to catch a bus...and when i was walking to the bus stop, I found my best friend dead under a tree. She had been shot and it was really graphic. I ran inside and found a friend (he was the only person anywhere), we ran outside again and I showed him my dead friend, and as we walked around further we found more and more of our friends had been shot (it was all really graphic and all the dead people were curled up in a weird position...like the fetal position). All of a sudden my friend turned to me and said, "I know who is doing this and we have to leave right now". We left and got on a bus straight away. That was it.

Feel: This dream made me really sad...i woke up crying. I was also angry that someone would do that to my friends. It was really disturbing..

People being shot might represent 'having a shot at someone'. For example being critical of others. The graphic wounds could represent 'deep wounding' and the fetal position could represent vulnerability.

The dream might be asking if you, or someone you know, is causing others harm by 'having shots' at them - which is having a much greater impact on them than realised.

The solution seemed to be to leave - to move away from such a person. Comment?

That mum and dad where on a plane then it crashed but me and my sister was at school in the same class room when my next door neighbour drove to school and come and knocked on the classroom door and got as out of class and told us to pack our stuff up she took us up to student services and asked them if she had a spare room that we could go into and she told us that mum and dad and been in a plane crashed and that they had died.

Feel: After - Upset

Parents can represent the mature parts of yourself. A plane can represent having a higher or wider view of things - seeing more clearly.

Your parents dying in a plane crash might be asking if the mature part of you has lost perspective and can't see what is really going on.

The solution seemed to be to go to Student Services. This might be suggesting that you might need to find someone talk to about things that may be upsetting you at the moment.

I was on a beach and there was a pile of folded blankets on the sand. Somehow I knew that this meant that my dad & stepmum's baby boy had died, before i got the chance to get to know him. In real life they have a three-year-old girl, and a few weeks after i had the dream i found out that my stepmum is pregnant again.

Feel: I felt guilty for not getting to know the baby, and incredibly sad. I actually woke up crying and continued to cry even when i realised it was a dream. Now i'm worried that it's a bad omen or something about the new baby.

A beach can represent new experiences or new  opportunities.

Death often represents change or loss - but seldom dying. The dream appeared to predict a pregnancy - but this may be a co-incidence because babies are a very common symbol for new projects or ideas.

Is there something new you are doing, or new ways of being, that you may not be looking after or nurturing (folded unused blankets)? Have you somehow in your life come across new opportunities that you may be ignoring ("not getting to know the baby") - and may therefore lose that opportunity?

Does this have anything to do with your relationship with your dad or stepmum? Crying often indicates a positive healing process is occurring. Comment?

my mother died

Feel: horrible

Death in a dream usually represents change within the dreamer - old thoughts and habits not being used or being replaced with new ones.

A mother can represent the nurturing side of you.

This dream might be asking you to think about your mothering nurturing  side - are you ignoring it? are you less dependent on mothering than you have been in the past? Comment?

I walked into my photography class and one of my friends said that my boyfriend had been cheating on me, so i walked out to go and see what was happening, in the art block there were these two girls. One was called Julliet (she was pretty/inocent and a nice person) and the other was called Gretchen, (she was a Goth and wore black and was the opposite to julliet).

Julliet and Gretchen were arguing, it was sort of like good and evil disagreeing. They were fighting over my boyfriend. Julliet liked him but Gretchen had him. Julliet walked off and i asked her if i could talk to her (cause she was nicer) and she said no and walked off (upset). Then i started talking to Gretchen , she was really mean and upfront. I said i was the one going out with him, and she said yeah but not for long. Then she put a meaning to some of my doubts. She said have you ever wondered why he doesn't ring you? i said yeah sort of, and she said, cause he rings her all the time. Then she said has he ever told me that he loved me and i said no, and she said that he has told her he loved her before. And she said that she was going to some important thing with him, that he didn't ask me to. All my doubts fitted into place. It was quite clear that he wanted her and not me. Then i started walking back into my photography class and on the way i got really angry and yelled/sweared at her, then walked back into my photography class, where my teacher was explaining something and i was really upset and grabbed my things and was crying. I didn't care about anything, or what the people around me thought of me. I woke up and i was crying.

Feel: Very upset, and tense. (during the dream) When i woke up, i felt really tense and weary. And i started to feel paranoid about how my boyfriend felt about me.

This is a very clever dream with many layers of meaning!

It sounds as though you have started to interpret this dream already. The characters J & G probably represent a black and white (like photography), good and evil, right and wrong way of looking at things. Has your 'paranoia' created a J & G within you that reinterprets events to fit all your "doubts"?

A teacher can represent your higher (deeper) self. In this case you are so upset that you don't hear what the teacher (or anybody else) is saying. The dream might be asking if you appreciate the art of relationships where things are not always black and white.

Crying in a dream is often a positive sign representing healing and understanding at deeper levels of your mind. Comment?

I was thinking of my best friend (a girl) during a heavy petting session with a guy at a party???

Feel: i felt confused am i a lesbian???

Intimacy in a dream can represent the union or bringing together of the characteristics represented by the different people in the dream. Ask yourself what characteristics might be represented by the guy at the party and your best friend. How might these characteristics be interacting within yourself?

The dream might also be asking you to think about the relationship between friendship and sex - and maybe also love...

Dreams about intimacy and sexual intercourse don't usually mean you should go and have sex with the person in the dream - whatever their sex. Comment?

I think I was somewhere away from home, and I was doing something and I pulled the bones out of my nose. Or maybe someone else did. It was very painful. Afterwards I was looking in a mirror and seeing my nose all swolen, there was a big red tear underneath that was stilll bleeding. I touched it and it was all soft. Also I saw allt he bones right up to the bridge of my nose taken out and hung up somewhere, like they were in a science display.

It was really graphic, and I could sware it really happened and I could feel the pain.

Feel: In pain, upset and disfigured...

Being "away from home" can represent being in new and unfamiliar surrounding or situations.

The nose can represent insight or intuition - as in "I have a nose for these things."

The damaged nose might be asking if you are looking within yourself (looking in a mirror) and using your inner knowledge or intuition - or are you just keeping it in a box (science display) to look at but not use?

Are you in a new or different situation where you need to pay attention to your inner wisdom? Comment?

Dream:

this guy i liked was being horrible and saying that I was nothing because I had a rash on my hands and then he apologised and said that in his culture they judge a woman by their hands and that he shouldn't have said what he said and then he kissed them.

Feel: confused

Dreams are usually about the dreamer. Hands represent expression and doing things.

Your dream may be asking if you have been judging someone based on superficial things that from another point of view ("culture") might not be important. Alternatively it may be reflecting that you may feel that you have been judged unfairly by others...?

Either way the apology and kiss at the end appears indicates that it has been resolved - or could be resolved. Comment?

Dream:

i was up the back of our block in the bush and i put on some magical glasses or something like them. I found out that i could see lots of details on the ground that id never noticed b4 and i started finding all this stuff, like little clear plastic lego glasses and my dad's watch that he lost.thats all that happened i think.

Feel: i was happy about finding all this stuff and proud of myself for being so clever..

Glasses could represent ways of looking at the world. Magical glasses may represent looking at things with wonder, or some new way that enables you to see things you didn't see before.

Finding a lost watch might represent finding something from the past - perhaps back to when you were a child and played with Lego?

Maybe you were seeing things through the eyes of a child - with newness and magic...  Have you been looking at things too seriously recently? maybe you need to look at the world in a new way to find what you are looking for? Comment?

Dream:

I can't remember the dream exactly, but I was doing all of this sporty stuff. But I really remember I had bought a new pair of rock-climbing shoes, but they were wearing apart really quickly, getting holes and seams tearing, so by the end of the day I had to throw them away.

Feel: In the dream I was upset that my shoes wore apart so quickly, like I'd lost them for good and I'd never be able to afford another pair..

Shoes can represent your basic understanding about life or the principles upon which you stand.

The dream may be suggesting you have some new (strong - "rock-climbing") understanding/principles to live by but they may be past their use-by-date and you may need to discard them.

Have you been living by new principles, only to discover that you now need to move on and get newer ones? This kind of fundamental change can be very stressful (tearing apart at the seams) and often it is easier to stay with the old rather than move on.

Only you can interpret this dream. What do rock-climbing shoes represent to you? What does the energetic "sporty" stuff represent? Where in your life might the dream be saying that you may find it difficult to move on from old worn out ideas to new ones? Comment?

this is my dad's dream that he was an adult but he was acting like a baby and his mother was kissing his toes and speaking in a way that people speak to babies.

Dream:

there was a bridge that only went half way across the river. i had to push the bridge out so it reached the other side. my friend was yelling at me the whole time.

when we reached the other side we got on some wind surfers to get back but mine wouldn't go straight only around in circles. when i finally reached the other side i was standing on the edge of a cliff, then i fell. while i was falling it changed to i was watching myself. i watched myself fall to the bottom and smash on the rocks.

Feel:i felt frustrated through most of the dream..

Bridges can represent how you achieve goals or overcome obstacles. In this case you had to force your way to reach a desired goal. Why was your friend yelling? .. to stop you?

getting back was equally difficult - goes round in circles. The dream may be asking if you are ready for, or really want, what you are aiming for.

Cliff can represent the need for a change in direction. You watch yourself fall - this may be asking you to take a look at yourself and what you desire. Comment?

Dream:

I had a dream that I was driving a friend down from the college. I was meant to go to Hobart on the Southern Outlet, but instead I went down the road that connects to the Southern Outlet side that goes to Kingston (you know the road that has the Proctors Road intersection in it).

My friend yelled at me cause I went the wrong way so I drove over the traffic island in the middle, and there were all these cops in cars. I tried to go back up the road to the college (the one that exits the southern outlet on the opposite side of the college) but the cops got me and my friend and threw us out of our car. Then they beat us up a bit and the dream ended.

Feel: Sore and as if I couldn't control the car..

Controlling a car may represent controlling your actions or directions in life. Are you going in the wrong direction in some area of your life? - (possibly sexually "southern outlet").

Police can represent your own better judgment. The dream may be asking you to think about what your better self  really thinks you should be doing. Comment?

Dream:

I was kissing a guy I don't even know.

Feel: during the dream i liked it but after the dream i felt sick seeing as this guy is gross

Intimacy with someone can represent taking on some characteristics of another person - being more like someone else. But the dream may be asking you if you really want to be more like them... Comment?
