Male - Age 17 - 13th August 1999

My watch was a computer.

A watch can represent how your day is organised and how much time you spend doing things.

This dream is very short to interpret but it could be asking:

Do computers rule your time? Do you spend too much time on computers?  Do you rely too much on a mechanical view of when you should do things rather than natural timing?

In my dream a friend, who everyone thinks is my girlfriend was putting up posters about the uni sexuality week. I was pissed off because it was my idea to do it and she got all the credit. Then another friend said that she wanted to attend the sexuality week at the uni. Because she isn’t queer and wanted to go I started bashing her.

This dream could be about how you display (“putting up posters”) your sexual identity.

The various “friends” in the dreams could be people you know but are more likely to represent feminine aspects of yourself and how you present them to others. The dream could be asking you acknowledge that different parts of you might not be getting a fair hearing on the issue of uni-sex (“uni sexuality”). Are you allowing some aspects of yourself to dominate over others? And is this in order to achieve “credit” with others? The dream also reminds you at the start that “everyone” (including you?) doesn’t know you that well.

  Female - Age 16 - 16th August 1999

I have this dream where a large mountain of purple flowers seem to fly above my head while green goblins run around flying sometimes using wings on there green hats while the trees sway around changing colour to green and purple and red. And I just keep seeing these things right after a session when I go to sleep. why?

Traditionally red represents the physical (and sexual), green the heart (love), and purple the spiritual.

The dream could be indicating the current playful (goblins) movement (swaying trees) of energy and emotions (colours) within you as you experience a new stage of natural growth (tree). The dream might also be asking that you keep your goals (mountain) in mind and in reach (“above my head”) so that you can become what you can be (flower).  Wings on green hats could represent freedom (wings) through loving (green) thinking (hats).

Male - Age 16 - 16th August 1999

I seem to repeatedly have a dream about being hunted by death. By death I mean the grim reaper. When I have been chased  come to a cliff were I have to option’s to jump or face the grim reaper. I have no idea what this dream means and I have it repeatedly. What doess this mean?

Death represents letting go of what is no longer useful. Being chased represents a sense of things catching up with you. Coming to the cliff represents the need to change direction.

The dream could be saying it is time to let go of old habits and thinking and move on - but it is your choice.

  Female - Age 18 - 16th August 1999

Lately I have been dreaming about this one particular guy.  He is in every dream I have.  It doesn’t matter how short or long the dream is he makes at least one appearance.  Does this mean anything?

This guy could be that person but is more likely to represent aspects of yourself that are like him. How would you describe him? - and then look for these characteristics in yourself.

To interpret what these dreams may mean will require more information about what happens and how you feel in the dreams.

  Female - Age 17 - 17th August 1999

I was at a friend’s place in the bush, and we were going exploring like we used to when we were little. There were all these bridge things made out of wood across the paddocks and stuff, and as we went over them they broke. We didn’t get hurt even though we fell a few metres, but as it kept happening it just became amusing.

Bridges represent how we overcome obstacles.

By taking you back to a child and showing how bridges failing can be amusing your dream might be asking you to look at how you solve problems - and in particular how do you treat failure.

Maybe you need to be more childlike and playful when dealing with setbacks or problems?

  Female - Age 17 - 17th August 1999

i was walking somewhere i would not have a clue but there was these people throwing firelighters at me. but they weren’t a light. there i was down the beach just splashing in the water and then i was surfing.

This dream could be about involvement in life and things that matter to you. It may be asking if you are directionless ("walking somewhere i would not have a clue") or if there is anything that ignites your interest and passion ("firelighters ... weren't alight").

Are you involved in life or "just splashing" around or skimming on the surface (surfing)?

  Female - Age 17 - 17th August 1999

I always have dreams about having sex with my boyfriend’s mates. I love my boyfriend but he is starting to think that he might not be able to trust me!

What do these dreams mean?

This dream might be asking if you are having a private relationship with your boyfriend or if all his mates are aware of everything that you do as if you were having a relationship with them as well.

Alternatively it may be asking if you desire characteristics in your boyfriend that are actually found in his mates.

How do you feel in the dreams? This may give a clue to the meaning.

  Male - Age 18 - 17th August 1999

My father tries to hunt me down in some unknown neighbourhood.  The only way that i can escape is to climb down the side of a building from veranda to veranda.  I know that he is not hunting me with a gun because he could of easily shot me, but i don’t know what he is trying to kill me with.  I just know that he is trying to kill me. I manage to escape and run down the street to where a heap of people are eating lunch.  When I made it to these people I new that I was safe.

Your father could represent authority or responsibility. The unknown neighbourhood could represent new unfamiliar situations you are in. Being hunted with an unknown weapon could mean mind is feeling threatened by something unknown. Buildings usually represent the dreamer. Climbing down the outside could mean you are escaping something by avoiding the inner issues.

The dream may be suggesting that socializing with other ("heaps of people") may help you to move forward.
